In the Master’s degree programme in Biochemistry and molecular biology you will be taught about cell reactions, proteins and their functions and the genes of organisms. These are central areas in the research of both cancer, diabetes and infectious diseases.

To apply for the Master’s programme in Molecular Bioscience, you need a relevant Bachelor’s degree. You can apply if you hold one of the following degrees:

  • Molecular Bioscience from University of Southern Denmark
  • Biomedicine from University of Southern Denmark
  • Molecular Medicine from Aarhus University
  • Molecular Biology from Aarhus University
  • Molecular Biomedicine from University of Copenhagen
  • Biology-Biotechnology from University of Copenhagen
  • Biochemistry from University of Copenhagen

You can also apply if you hold a similar degree containing a minimum of 60 ECTS within the field of molecular bioscience. The Study Board will assess your degree once you have applied.

Molecular Bioscience with a minor in Chemistry
You can apply for Molecular Bioscience with a minor in Chemistry if you hold a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Bioscience with a minor in Chemistry. You can also apply if you hold a similar degree containing a minimum of 60 ECTS within the field of molecular bioscience and 40 ECTS within Chemistry. The Study Board will assess your degree once you have applied.
