About the programme

This master program is aimed at students with a Bachelor degree in electronics, telecommunications, computer science, robotics, physics or equivalent.

By choosing a 2-year master’s programme in Electronic Systems Design, you will strengthen your professional expertise and gain access to a broader range, and more challenging jobs. You can specialize in fields that reach past areas usually associated with electronics.


Dual degree in Electronic systems at NTNU and TU-BERLIN

The Dual Degree programme between NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, and TUB is a two-year Master’s double degree. Students that successfully complete the programme will be awarded a Master Degree in Electronic Systems Design from NTNU and a Master Degree in Computer Engineering from TUB.

Up to five students from Electronic Systems Design will be able to participate in the programme each year.

 

Program Prerequisites

BSc/BEng degree in Electronics Engineering with average grade of 1st class division or 2nd class upper division. Candidates with a BSc/BEng in Physics may be considered for the programme option Nano Electronics and Photonics. Candidates with a BSc/BEng in Automation, Cybernetics or Electrical Engineering may also be considered.

Applicants who hold a Bachelor of Engineering must have passed the examination in subjects equivalent to Mathematical Methods I, II and III  + Statistics, a minimum of 30 ECTS-credits mathematics and statistics.

Applicants who hold a Bachelor of Science must have passed the examination in subjects equivalent to NTNUs subjects Mathematics 1-4, Statistics, Physics and Information Technology Introduction.
