Environment and Development is an internationally oriented MSc programme where your primary focus is the sustainable development of forests, agriculture and foods in developing coutries.

The programme is offered in English.

The 2-year MSc programme will teach you how to merge social and natural sciences. The programme practices field-based and research-based learning, giving you a holistic and realistic understanding of critical aspects of agricultural development – from soil fertility management to rural livelihood strategies. You specialize in either Agriculture and Ecology or Livelihoods and Governance.

Admission Requirements

If you have completed a Bachelor’s degree or are enrolled in the final semester of a Bachelor’s programme you are eligible to apply for the Master’s programme in Environment and Development.
