About the Programme

The Finance programme focuses on the problems of an advanced practitioner, in Sweden or internationally. The core faculty and international visiting professors provide you with a broad solid basis in Corporate Finance and Investment Theory. Furthermore, prestigious representatives of the business community give seminars and classes, and several courses are held in the Finance Laboratory, which provides a unique opportunity for you to perform financial research using state-of-the-art technology.

The valuation concepts and techniques taught to you have proven applicability even outside the traditional investment banking community. Courses in the programme aim to give deeper theoretical knowledge and operational understanding of concepts and techniques, thereby enabling you to apply them to practical problems. This combination of high theoretical level and professional focus enhances your employability.

The programme consists of 52,5 credits core courses, 37,5 credits elective courses and a 30 credits Master Degree project. The programme is integrated with the Master of Science in Economics programme at Graduate School. After graduation from the Finance programme you can enter a variety of professions.
