The one-year program consists of advanced courses comprising 45 HE credits and a thesis project of 15 HE credits. This design creates synergy between theory and practice, employing highly qualified, renowned researchers, lecturers, professors, and representatives from business and NGOs. Participating educators and international academic partners who are actively conducting research give the program a solid academic focus and make clear linkages among research, education, the business community, and social developments.
The program aims to improve the student’s prospects of achieving quality, status, and professional success. We put an emphasis on the skills needed in today’s global financial environment by offering:
- A solid academic and analytical basis for practical decision-making in economics and finance.
- A multicultural learning environment and international teachers.
- Advanced learning techniques that maximize learning outcomes; including financial modelling, forecasting and computer applications.
Bachelor’s degree of 180 HE credits with 90 HE credits in the major subject field of Economics with at least 7,5 HE credits in Finance at intermediate level and 7.5 HE credits in Econometrics or Statistics, or equivalent.
Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree of 180 HE credits with 90 HE credits in the major subject field of Business Administration, with at least 7,5 HE credits in Micro economics and 7.5 HE credits in Macro economics and at least 7,5 HE credits in Finance at intermediate level and 7.5 HE credits in Econometrics or Statistics, or the equivalent.
Verified knowledge of English corresponding to the course English B/English 6 in the Swedish Upper Secondary School or equivalent.
