As a graduate from the MSc programme in Food Innovation and Health, you can contribute to the development of healthier and tastier foods. You’ll become an expert in gastronomy and technology, linking consumers and the food industry.

The programme is offered in English.

During the 2-year programme you put theory into practice in new ways within the fields of food chemistry, food culture, sensory science and product development. In addition you will gain insight into consumer experiences and gastronomical techniques.

Admission Requirements

If you have completed a Bachelor’s degree or are enrolled in the final semester of a Bachelor’s programme you are eligible to apply for the Master’s programme in Food Innovation and Health.

Bachelor’s degrees that automatically fulfill the academic requirements

If you hold one of the degrees listed below, you are considered to meet all academic requirements. Learn about when and how to apply.

  • BSc in Food Science with the Food, Health and Nutrition subject-specific course package from the University of Copenhagen (reserved access to the programme*)

*Bachelor’s degree with reserved access to the programme

If your Bachelor’s degree grants a legal right of admission, you are guaranteed a place on the Master’s programme if you apply before the application deadline during the first application period after you complete your bachelor’s degree.
