The Master’s programme in Industrial Design at Aalborg University focuses on an integrated process of concept design, construction and product development. Aesthetical competencies and creativity in the design development process are combined with knowledge of construction, product development, ergonomics, materials, environment, design management and economy.
The Industrial Design projects are often done in collaboration with different companies, as design engineers should be able to understand the progress in a strategic perspective from the company’s angle.
During the Master’s programme you will meet a wide range of teachers who will present you with new knowledge in key areas. The programme is internationally oriented, and attracts Danish as well as international students. Furthermore the educational programme offers the opportunity of an internship or/and an external study as well as study trips inside and outside Denmark during the semester.
