About International Business and Marketing

The industry of Mid-Western Norway is highly internationalised. Many businesses within this region operate on markets with a high degree of global competition. In spite of this region’s strong globalisation, this is the first master’s degree in management studies specialising in international business and marketing offered in this region.


Admission requirements

Completed Bachelor degree within business administration with business economics, economics, methods and adminsitration.

Specific programme requirements

Requirements

Completed Bachelor degree in business administration or equivalent, cf. the Norwegian educational framework with respect to studies as described by NRØA (the Norwegian council for education in business administration).

An average grade equivalent to a Norwegian C is required in order to be considered.

Discipline oriented Master’s degree program (120 ECTS)

The following academic requirements must also be met:

  1. Business economics: 30 ECTS credits (minimum requirements: introduction to business economics, management accounting, financial accounts and financing/investment)
  2. Economics: 15 ECTS credits (minimum requirements: microeconomics and macroeconomics)
  3. Methods: 20 ECTS credits (minimum requirements: mathematics, statistics and social science methods)
  4. Administration: 25 ECTS credits (minimum requirements: organization and management, marketing, business strategy)
