Do you want to contribute to the sustainable management of the world’s fish and wildlife resources? The programme will prepare you for a career in the many governmental and non-governmental organisations involved!
What importance do fish and wildlife have on the community? How can we handle fish and wildlife populations in a sustainable way? By combining both theory and practical methods, this programme provide students with a good knowledge in ecology, management and conservation of fish and wildlife, as well as knowledge of the laws andconventions both in Sweden and abroad. The programme includes both mandatory courses, a thesis and elective courses.
Prerequisites / Requirements
General requirements for master studies are BSc degree from an internationally recognised university.
Specific entry requirement for the master program Management of fish and wildlife population is:
– 60 credits in Biology including at least 15 credits in ecology or
– 60 credits in Forest Sciences including at least 15 credits in ecology or
– 60 credits in Environmental Sciences including at least 15 credits in ecology or
– 60 credits in Natural Resource Management including at least 15 credits in ecology
English six from Swedish upper secondary school or equivalient.
