About the programme
The Master programme in Operations Management and Control at Stockholm Business School, Stockholm University will prepare you for an exciting and challenging future career in services and manufacturing, in Sweden and around the world. Operations management is the activity of managing the resources devoted to the production and delivery of products and services. It involves the design, management and improvement of services, processes and supply chains.
Over the course of two years, you will learn advanced theories and methods for analyzing and improving operations. You will also analyze and gain a deep understanding of the financial implications of operations improvements. The programme takes a strategic perspective with focus on business development.
The programme collaborates closely with businesses and society to ensure high employability and that the courses address relevant challenges.
Upon completion, common positions include: management consultant, management trainee, supply chain planner, operations developer, strategic buyer/procurer, business controller, production/services leader and project leader.
Stockholm Business School use GMAT and/or GRE as a selection tool for all masters programmes.

Seats are allocated through a successive selection (seats are allocated to one selection group at a time). Firstly, seats are allocated to applicants with GMAT (GRE) result. Secondarily, seats are allocated to applicants with ECTS credits. The maximum merit value in the second selection group (APM) is 270.
